||Albert Afeso Akanbi is a writer, researcher and columnist.
The author of numerous articles and short stories, one of his works was among the 50 selected from 38 writers representing 16 countries that appeared in the African Book Club’s maiden anthology ‘The Bundles of Joy and Other Stories from Africa’.
Another, ‘That Sunday Afternoon’ won the maiden WordMaster Writers’ Challenge competition in May, 2015.
In October the same year, he became the first Nigerian to win a residency to the Sangam House International Writers' Residency in India.
He has three novels, Cold Black Night, November 5 and The Edge of Patience to his credit.
