A truth buried so deep it becomes non-existent

A lie told so often it becomes a reality‎

Job well done, we say to ourselves

Life goes on, well for a while

Few miles down the road, questions beckoning on us, searching for an identity

Truth is …

A lie, no matter how many times it’s been told, is what it is: a lie

And a part of one was buried along with the truth‎.

‎A slip by two young lovers,

Inexperience? Maybe, some spiritual invocation? Very likely‎

Children left hanging in the balance – fruit of the relationship

Go through life seeking for answers, seeking direction‎

‎Often attributing their failures to their folks’ mistake, though in times past

Truth is…

A lie, no matter how many times it’s been told, is what it is: a lie

And we all are responsible for our lives‎.

‎A child trapped in an adult

Somehow stuck in experiences from times past‎

Deep down, always longing for the child to be freed‎

‎Insecure, timid, unfashionably withdrawn

‎Child abuse? Maybe, poverty? Not impossible.

Truth is…

A lie, no matter how many times it’s been told, is what it is: a lie‎

And the key to free the child therein is with the adult‎.

‎Truth is pure

Truth is absolute

It has no shades, no variation

The truth is this

No one can hinder you

Nothing can impede you‎

The truth is

You can be whatever you choose to be.

    The truth is
    This is a great article.
And the truth remains that we all need to remind ourselves that a lie no matter how many times it’s told, is still a lie

Truth is a lie is a lie no matter how many times it is told.
We are responsible for our lives.
But truth only appears to be non-existent.
Thank you Ayo for sharing this wisdom.
